It will guide the audience through all clinically relevant aspects of postoperative imaging of the musculoskeletal system, including a discussion of imaging protocols, the normal postoperative MR appearance as well as imaging of postoperative complications.
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
Inform patients and referring physicians with regard to safety and possible limitations of image quality after MSK surgery;
Select and tailor MR protocols according to clinical needs;
Reduce imaging artifacts;
Describe imaging artifacts and differentiate them from relevant findings; and
Recognize postoperative findings and differentiate them from clinically relevant findings.
