OVERVIEW
MRomics is an emerging discipline that integrates imaging and genetics to provide new approaches to personalized medicine as well as lend new insight into population-based research. This 2-hour course will introduce the concepts and methods underlying the current state-of-the-art as well as the challenges and opportunities associated with their development and application.
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
Clinician and basic scientists interested in integrative imaging analyses of multivariate data in general and genetics in particular.
 
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the rationale for and goals of MRomics;
  • Understand the basic principles and methods of MRomics;
  • Discuss some of the open challenges and future trends in MRomics research and application; and
  • Design and evaluate studies in MRomics.
