Joint Annual Meeting ISMRM-ESMRMB 2014 10-16 May 2014 Milan, Italy

WEEKEND EDUCATIONAL COURSE
Multidisciplinary Neuroradiology, Part 1
SKILL LEVEL: Basic to Intermediate
ORGANIZER: Howard A. Rowley, M.D.
Saturday, 10 May 2014 (08:00 - 18:00)

OVERVIEW
The 2014 ISMRM weekend course in Neuroradiology will address eight major topics over two days. Each session will include three speakers to address the clinical, radiological, and technical perspectives of a particular topic, followed by an interactive discussion with the audience.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This wide-ranging course is meant to appeal to (and challenge) students, scientists, physicists, engineers, and clinicians interested in learning more about multidisciplinary clinical neuroscience topics and how to employ new advanced imaging applications.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the key clinical needs which need to be addressed in clinical neuroscience settings;
  • Appraise the practice, pitfalls, and limitations of current imaging techniques in neuroradiology; and
  • Apply emerging imaging techniques to better address multidisciplinary problems in neuroscience.
