ISMRM 23rd Annual Meeting & Exhibition • 30 May - 05 June 2015 • Toronto, Ontario, Canada

WEEKEND EDUCATIONAL COURSE
Cardiovascular MRI: Vascular Flow & Angiography
SKILL LEVEL: Basic to Intermediate
ORGANIZERS: Daniel B. Ennis, Ph.D. & Harald Kramer, M.D.
Saturday, 30 May 2015

OVERVIEW
This course highlights the components of a routine vascular exam and provides an overview of widely accepted and cutting-edge techniques in flow imaging and magnetic resonance angiography.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Attendees, including medical physicists, who have an interest in evaluating cardiovascular disease with MRI in order to gain an in-depth perspective on the technical foundations, clinical needs, and research promises of both flow imaging and magnetic resonance angiography techniques in order to improve their clinical practice.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Develop a working knowledge of a basic vascular exam and in its clinical and research applications;
  • Relate the clinical needs to the accepted methods for flow imaging in abdominal disease; and
  • Evaluate the clinical applications for MRA in congenital heart disease.
