Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:
  • Discuss general considerations about reviewing a manuscript for Magn Reson Med and JMRI;
  • Describe the difference between single-blind and double-blind peer review;
  • Indicate what each decision category means and how to review each part of the paper;
  • Explain the differences between fundamental and fixable issues when reviewing;
  • Summarize the various manuscript categories and expectations; and
  • Review some of the most common errors made by authors.
