Laboratory of Biomedical Imaging and Signal Processing (BISP Lab)
Successful candidate is expected to join the ongoing MR neuroimaging
projects. He/she is also encouraged to develop new projects
independently with the focus in new neuroimaging approaches and
cutting-edge applications to investigate the brain development,
injuries and repairing in rodent models.
BISP Lab is an interdisciplinary lab between HKU Faculty of
Engineering and HKU Faculty of Medicine, one of the best medical
schools in the region. BISP Lab has a state-of-art 7T Bruker
PharmaScan with a variety of MRI techniques well established (e.g.,
DTI, fMRI, MRS, MEMRI and quantitative analysis). A whole-body
Philips 3T Archieva scanner, a state-of-art micro-CT scanner, a
multispectral Luciferase optical imaging scanner are also available
for research.
Strong background in MRI applications and desire to explore
neuroscience are required. Salary is highly competitive and
commensurate with track record with 2- or 3-year contract.
