Postdoctoral Position in DCE-MRI and Image Processing

A postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory for Structural NMR Imaging (http://www.uphs.upenn.edu/radiology/depa/lsni/index.html) in the Department of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.

The position will primarily focus on the development of improved techniques for dynamic contrast-enhanced imaging (DCE-MRI) of tumors and on the analysis of DCE-MRI data. The successful candidate will work closely with both MRI physicists and physicians specializing in DCE-MRI research to achieve these goals.

Our research facility includes Siemens 1.5T Sonata and 3.0T Trio whole-body MR systems dedicated to research, as well as a Siemens 1.5T Avanto and 3.0T Tim Trio scanners dedicated 50% for research.

Applicants must have an advanced degree (Ph.D.) in engineering (biomedical or electrical is preferred), physics, or computer science, and previous experience in MRI and image processing is desirable.
