A Post doctoral position in medical
imaging at the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR), University
of Minnesota, is available. At the CMRR the use of state-of-the-art MRI
systems (3T, 4T, 7T and 9.4T human systems), are exploited in developing
imaging of human anatomy and function with ever increasing spatial and
temporal resolutions.
Applications are solicited for a post-doctoral position to develop novel
image reconstruction techniques in cardiac, body and brain imaging. The
successful candidate will work in an interdisciplinary environment under
the guidance of center director Dr. Kamil Ugurbil and colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement methods for parallel imaging and highly
constrained reconstruction
Develop strategies for high temporal resolution imaging
Quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate reconstruction methods
Pursue Applications in anatomical and functional imaging for cardiac,
body and fMRI at high fields
Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. or equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or related
field.
• Programming experience in Matlab and C++
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work
within a multidisciplinary team
• Signal processing background preferred
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with MRI reconstruction and processing methods (e.g.,
parallel imaging, DTI, cardiac MR, fMRI)
