Two Postdoctoral MR Physicists |

The MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit (CBSU) is an
internationally renowned research institute with state-of-the-art
cognitive neuroscience facilities. Two research positions are available in our MR Physics Group that works in close collaboration with the Cambridge neuroscience community. One appointment will be a permanent position, the other is for 11.5 months. Research activities will focus on the development of new MR neuroimaging methods including the development and optimisation of pulse sequences on our 3T Siemens Tim Trio scanner. You should have a PhD in physics or a related field, with a strong background in MRI. Experience with C-programming, Matlab, and Siemens software (IDEA, ICE) is desirable but not a prerequisite. The starting salary will be in the range of £25,368 - £31,048, supported by a flexible pay and reward policy, 30 days annual leave entitlement, and an optional MRC final salary Pension Scheme.
