Postdoctoral Position in Advanced

A postdoctoral position is available in
the Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC), Oregon Health & Science
University. The position will be involved in in vivo MRI/MRS, especially
dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI studies of breast cancer and other
types of cancer. Responsibilities include data acquisition, processing,
and preparing manuscripts for publication. The AIRC is equipped with two
3T Siemens whole-body, one 7T Siemens whole-body, one 11.75T rodent
Biospec (Bruker) MR systems, as well as an electronics and a chemistry
laboratories. The Radiology department of the university has two 3T and
two 1.5T whole-body MR systems which are accessible for research
studies. The candidate should have a strong background in MR physics,
strong communication skills, and an interest in clinical applications of
newly developed MR techniques. Experience with Siemens MR systems and in
clinical MR studies is preferred but not required. The interested
candidate will also be encouraged to develop his/her own research
projects. Salary commensurate with experience. |
