A postdoctoral position is available in
the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory (LRMN) at NeuroSpin, CEA,
Saclay, France (http://www-dsv.cea.fr/neurospin/).
NeuroSpin currently houses 3T and 7T human scanners and a 7T animal
scanner. In January 2010 it will house the world’s first 17T horizontal
bore animal scanner.
The position will focus on the development of novel, primarily
diffusion-based techniques for magnetic resonance microscopy. Pulse
sequences will be initially developed for the 7T scanner and then
transferred to the 17T system.
Applicants must have a doctorate degree in engineering (biomedical or
electrical preferred), physics, computer science, or other relevant
discipline. Previous experience in MRI and pulse sequence design is
desirable.
