The Unité de Recherche en Résonance Magnétique Médicale (U2R2M, www.u2r2m.u-psud.fr ) has a two-year post-doctoral fellow position available immediately in its clinical research site at Bicetre Hospital.

The post-doctoral project aims to make respiratory dynamic imaging possible in vivo with a temporal resolution, lower than 10 ms, never achieved so far.

It takes place within the framework of the European network PHeLINet (Polarized Helium for Lung Imaging Network, www.phelinet.eu) and in collaboration with the Robert Steiner Unit ( www.imperial.ac.uk ) and the Astronomy Department of CEA (Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique, www.dapnia.cea.fr/Sap).
Time-of-flight measurements and parallel imaging - as developed in the laboratory - as well as sparse representation and reconstruction approaches will be explored to develop original acquisition strategies and novel magnetic resonance image processing.
