A postdoctoral research position is available in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. The position will be involved with research in functional MRI (fMRI), with potential projects including functional connectivity, diffusion imaging, and/or novel fMRI methods or analysis techniques. Applications will include studies of brain development and neuropsychiatric disorders (e.g. anxiety disorder, depression, and autism). Responsibilities will include independent and collaborative research, assisting with applications of the data analysis, as well as publishing and presenting results. The applicant will work in a rich, highly interdisciplinary environment and have the opportunity to work with researchers in Medical Physics, Computer Science, Radiology, Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience.

The Department of Psychiatry (in conjunction with the Department of Radiology) has recently installed a new 3T GE MR750 MRI scanner.
