Poster Presentation Guidelines
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION PROCESS:
After the abstract submission deadline of 18 January 2006, members
of the SMRT Education Committee will have completed the scoring of
all abstract submissions. The Committee will select, based on
scores, which abstracts will be selected for oral proffered papers
or poster presentation. Abstract submissions selected for poster
presentation must then submit their poster electronically for poster
scoring. Instructions for the electronic
submission of posters is available here. The instructions
must be followed explicitly for the successful handling of pdf
files. We sincerely hope the electronic submission of posters will
streamline the submission process for everyone involved; from the
author, to the central office, and finally to the judges. This year,
the program committee has allotted only eight slots for oral
proffered papers for the annual meeting program. These abstract
submissions will have been selected by the overall scores in the
clinical and research categories. All other submissions will be
invited to present their work as a poster. A small number of poster
presenters will be selected to present orally at the Poster Exhibit
and Walking Tour Reception Friday evening, 5 May 2006.
