All completed abstracts that are submitted will be evaluated by the members of the SMRT Education Committee.  From these abstracts the committee will select 7 proffered papers for oral presentation at the 18th SMRT Annual Meeting in Hawaii.  Authors of the remaining abstracts, and those specifically requesting poster only presentations,  will be invited to submit their abstract in poster format.

ATTESTATION STATEMENT:
 

The SMRT wishes to foster a culture of ethics, honesty, and integrity among its membership, and to increase the body of research conducted by professionals practicing as MR radiographers / technologists and their equivalent.  The SMRT supports this mission by providing awards for the top three proffered papers and poster submissions in clinical and research focuses.  In addition, the President's Award is awarded to the best work submitted in either focus.  All abstracts submitted for judging must represent primary authorship of original work by the presenting author.  Submissions that have been previously published or presented will not be accepted.  Radiographers / Technologists or equivalent who are aware that the submission does not represent original work or that the submission has been previously published or presented are responsible for reporting this to the SMRT.
