PET/MRI Featured Topic for SMRT/ISMRM Joint Forum

The ISMRM/SMRT Joint forum of this year’s meeting was selected based on feedback from last years meeting and the topic selected between the ISMRM & SMRT is PET/MRI. Your SMRT meeting registration includes this forum scheduled on Monday afternoon. The organizers of this years forum are James J. Stuppino, B.S.,R.T.(R)(MR), Executive Member of the SMRT, Cindy R. Comeau, B.S, R.T.(N)(MR), FSMRT Executive Liaison-External Relations and Christine Chung, M.D., ISMRM Education Chair from the University of California, San Diego.

Gustav K. von Schulthess, M.D., Ph.D., M.D. hon., Chairman Dept. Med. Radiology; Professor and Director Nuclear Medicine, University Hospital, Raemistr. Zurich, SWITZERLAND will speak on Clinician Applications & Challenges in Europe.

David W. Jordan, Ph.D., Senior Medical Physicist at University Hospitals Case Medical Center Cleveland, Ohio, United States will speak on PET/MR Technology Challenges & Comparison of Systems.

John Totman Ph.D., Head of Imaging Operations, A*STAR-NUS Clinical Imaging Research Centre, National University of Singapore Centre for Translational Medicine will speak on PET/MR Technologists Challenges from a MRI Technologist point of view.

Kimberly Jackson, BS, RT (N), LNMT, NMTCB, Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist, PET/MR Nuclear Medicine Dept. NYU Center for Biomedical Imaging will speak on PET/MR Technologists Challenges from a Nuclear Medicine Technologist point of view.
