A Clearer Image of the Brain
New Directions in Clinical Brain Imaging

Recently, when I was asked to start a blog through Psychology Today, I viewed it as an opportunity to showcase some of the magnificent, cutting-edge work being done in the field of MR. In my first post, I also used this platform to place emphasis on an area in which further awareness is sorely needed – mental health and the stigma surrounding it. With so many people suffering from mental illnesses in silence, this is truly a great way to increase exposure of the great work being done, not only to my fellow MR professionals, but to a much larger audience. We in MR know how awesome our field is and the immense capabilities MR has, but there are a lot out there who don’t. hopefully, by demonstrating some of the work researchers are doing, this blog can shed some light on MR and how we are learning more and more about the brain.
