2011 John A. Koveleski Award for Professional Development

This award was established to honor the memory of John A. Koveleski, SMRT President 2002-2003, in recognizing the need for MR professional development of students and new entrants in the field of MR.

Amanda Golsch presented her award-winning poster Friday, 6 May 2011
at the SMRT 20th Annual Meeting at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada.

Amanda graduated from Xavier University in 2001 with an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology. After obtaining valuable experience as a Cardiac CathLab and Interventional Radiologic technologist, she was hired by the Department of Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. At Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, she served as the manager of Interventional Radiology. In November of 2008, she accepted a position as an Imaging Research Technologist at the Imaging Research Center (IRC). In 2009, Amanda graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University. Currently, she is working on her MBA at Xavier University, teaching at the University of Cincinnati, Raymond Walters College, coordinating a national MRI conference for the IRC, and has accepted the position of secretary for the local Kentucky chapter of the SMRT.
