~Denise Echelard~ In
Memoriam~
On October 13, 2009, Denise Echelard,
a long-time SMRT Member, passed away peacefully at home.
All of us from the SMRT will greatly miss Denise, not only for her
invaluable work as a SMRT regional organizer, but for her wonderful
sense of humor, caring personality, and her dedication to the MR
technologist community.
Denise grew up in Montana and lived in the Southern US for 10 years
before moving to Seattle in 1988. She leaves a legacy of two decades
helping advance MRI technology in the Seattle area through her
dedication, commitment, and professionalism. Her favorite quote is
by Denny Crane, It was fun being me.
She is survived by her husband, Rich Meredith, her parents Bob and
Pat Echelard, her brothers Tim & wife Geordie, Doug, Terry, Steve &
wife Nancy, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Denise wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to those that cared and
supported her at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Seattle Cancer Care
Alliance
http://www.seattlecca.org/ or the Humane Society. Denise
Echelard will be greatly missed.
