Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, founded in 1823, is a coeducational college offering graduate, professional and undergraduate degrees in the health sciences. As a private and independent

MCPHS is currently accepting applications for the position of Director - MRI Program and Assistant/Associate Professor at its Boston campus. The primary on-going responsibilities of the Program Director are to provide day-to-day management of program matters, including faculty hiring, evaluation, and development; coordination and assessment of courses; and recommendation of budget actions. Selected candidate will lead curriculum development and on-going curricular revisions; maintain current, and establish new, clinical affiliation sites and agreements; provide day-to-day management of program matters; hire faculty and staff (both adjunct and full-time); develop, implement, and update as needed a programmatic assessment plan; teach courses as assigned;
provide budget needs and justifications and recommend budget actions; establish a personal program of scholarly activity; and perform service activities that advance the program and the profession, including
assisting in the recruitment, orientation, and retention of students, other school and college service, and community and/or professional association service.

The minimum qualifications include ARRT certification in MRI and a baccalaureate degree in a related field.

Preferred qualifications include a master's or doctoral degree, prior teaching experience, and prior experience with curriculum development, program design, and teaching of courses using a course management
system. For those candidates who do not hold a master's or doctoral degree, the master's degree must be achieved within four years.
