A five-night Western Caribbean Cruise departing from Galveston, Texas and visiting Cozumel and Progresso, Mexico, has been chosen as the site of the ISMRM Workshop on Molecular and Cellular Imaging: Cruising into Molecular and Cellular Imaging.

The workshop has been structured in such a way that a full-length program will be held in between stops at the ports of Cozumel and Progresso.

The cruise experience, in addition to participation in the ISMRM educational program, includes all meals, complimentary 24-hour room service, nightly entertainment, full casino, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, exciting itineraries and ports of call, a world of shipboard activities, and impeccable service.

The cruise ship, Rhapsody of the Seas, is among the most innovative and exciting in the travel industry, featuring thousands of windows to showcase the world's most memorable coastlines and ports.

The port of Galveston is easily accessed from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston (IAH), approximate driving time is about 2 hours by car. Roundtrip transportation from IAH can be arranged and included for those attendees who require transportation at a rate of US$90 per person (increased from US$78 to US$90, effective 20 November 2006). 
Your flights must arrive into IAH BEFORE 1pm on February 4, 2007.  Attendees whose flights arrive after 1pm will have to make alternate arrangements for transportation.  Your departure flight on February 9, 2007 must depart after 12:30 pm.  Attendees whose flights depart before 12:30 pm will have to make alternate arrangements for transportation.  Please note: it is a 2 hour drive each way from IAH to the Galveston pier. For attendees who will be driving to the pier, parking is available at the pier at a rate of $55 uncovered or $65 covered for the duration of the cruise.

Developed by Fisher-Price exclusively for Royal Caribbean International, these activities are hosted by trained youth staff. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during activity sessions.
