CALL FOR PAPERS

Prospective participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral or traditional poster presentations. Abstracts are to be submitted via the ISMRM website (instructions below), and the deadline for receipt is 23:59 on 5 January, 2007 (US Eastern Standard Time)

Accepted proffered oral presentations will be presented in several sessions, including (but not limited to):
1. Killer applications for non-Cartesian imaging (Session 1) – this group will include examples of where different non-Cartesian methods can provide significant advantages.

2. Reconstruction Methods (Session 6) (applicants to this session are strongly encouraged to also submit their reconstructions of data provided at http://www.ismrm.org/workshops/Non_Cartesian_MRI (data and relevant information will be available soon).

Length: 1 page, including all images, tables, graphs, and references. No smaller than 10 pt font should be used. (Arial font is recommended.) Should be formatted for a page that is 8.5”/21.5 cm wide x 11”/28 cm high; with margins of 1” (2.5 cm) on all sides

The abstract should include
1) abstract title
2) authors, affiliations
3) introduction,
4) the methods used,
5) the results obtained,
6) discussion and conclusion, and
7) references

A cover message on separate PDF should indicate:
1) abstract title
2) list of authors and
3) postal address, phone and fax number, and e-mail address for each
4) the author’s preference for
- oral presentation,
- poster presentation,
- poster only.

Submission: Submit in PDF format by email, to Non_Cartesian@ismrm.org

Abstracts will be reviewed for scientific merit, relevance to the field, clarity and soundness. Notification of action taken will be sent via email by 22nd January 2007.
