Call for Papers


Prospective participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral or conventional poster presentations. The deadline for receipt is 19 December 2005.

Length: 1 page (required), plus 1 movie file (recommended)

Page Format: Single column; double-spaced; formatted for a page that is 8.5”/21.5 cm wide x 11”/28 cm high; with margins of 1” (2.5 cm) on all sides. Please use Courier 12 point for text, and Courier 14 point for title (see template). Must be PDF format (2 Mb max)

Movie Format: Must be Quicktime format (10 Mb max)

Submission: Submit PDF and movie file to real_time@ismrm.org

The abstract should include:

1) abstract title
2) list of authors
3) institutional and departmental affiliations
4) introduction,
5) the methods used,
6) the results obtained,
7) discussion, and
8) references
May include one figure.

A cover message should indicate:

1) abstract title
2) list of authors and
3) postal address, phone and fax number, and e-mail address for each
4) the author’s preference for an oral presentation, poster presentation, or either one.
5) submission category; choice of:

- System infrastructure
- Pulse sequences
- Image reconstruction / Acceleration
- Diagnostic applications
- Interventional applications

Abstracts will be reviewed for scientific merit, relevance to the field, clarity and soundness.

Notification of action taken will be sent via email by 19 January, 2006.
