Venue and Accommodations

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is aptly known as the "Diamond in the Wilderness" of the Canadian Rockies. This chalet-style hotel resides on the shore of the emerald waters of Lake Louise in Banff National Park.  The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is a year round resort featuring some of the most spectacular views imaginable. Timeless beauty is yours at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, where majestic mountains soar skyward.  Ski, skate, take in a sleigh-ride, horseback ride or just soak up the casual elegance that makes The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise so memorable.

Because of the unique location of this workshop, we have combined the workshop registration with lodging.  This includes workshop attendance and materials, four nights' accommodation (12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th of March), dinner on the evening of the 12th, all three meals on the 13th, 14th, 15th, and breakfast on the 16th of March.

If you would like to extend your stay, either before the workshop or after the workshop, a special room rate has been secured for three days pre- and three days post-conference.  These additional days pre- and post-conference do NOT include meals.  The charge for an additional night is US$150.

There are a limited number of double rooms available, which we are holding for students who wish to share.  If you are a student and are interested in sharing a room with another student delegate, please contact the ISMRM Central Office at
