Course Description
This four-hour course will cover technical issues around using MRI in the musculoskeletal system.  Fast imaging, interventional imaging and comparison with CT imaging will all be discussed, and participants will come away with a better knowledge of the new applications of MRI in joint imaging.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:

Compare MRI with other advanced imaging modalities;
Explain the role of interventional MRI in the musculoskeletal system;
Explain the role of high field MRI in the musculoskeletal system;
Describe the technical issues related to high-resolution joint imaging;
Evaluate options for open MRI scanners for musculoskeletal imaging.
