Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the range of causes for athletic pubalgia;
  • Explain the pathophysiology of sportsman hernia and femoral acetabular impingement;
  • Identify imaging findings that may lead to specific diagnoses in patients with pubalgia;
  • List the indications for hip and pubic symphysis MR Arthrography; and
  • Describe the role of 3.0T MRI in evaluation of the hip and pelvis.
