Overview:

This one-hour course will present advances in fetal MRI beyond the standard fast T2 weighted sequence. The course will focus on technical advances using clinical case examples.

Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe what MR sequences are currently used in cutting edge fetal MRI;
  • Explain the potential clinical role of these sequences; and
  • Evaluate the limitations and challenges of fetal MRI.
  • Audience Description:

    This course is designed for either clinicians or MR physicists with an interest in fetal MRI, particularly those who would like to understand technical advances now in use. No first hand experience in fetal MRI is needed but would be beneficial.
