14:00 - 16:00

This course will demonstrate relevant soft tissue abnormalities using a case-based approach. Typical examples will be used for demonstration of adequate imaging protocols, followed by cases useful for the discussion of indications for MR imaging. The course will concentrate on neoplasm and their mimickers as well as trauma.
Upon completion of this case based session, participants should be able to:
  • Plan optimal imaging protocols for all relevant soft tissue abnormalities;
  • Describe the indications for MRI of specific soft tissue abnormalities; and
  • Identify four soft tissue abnormalities which radiologists should not miss.
