OVERVIEW
This interactive two-hour course will utilize an audience response system. Topics include bladder tumors, ovarian lesion characterization, ovarian cancer staging and follow-up after treatment, and pregnant patients. Lectures will address how to utilize MR imaging to:
« assess bladder tumors;
« characterize adnexal lesions;
« stage ovarian cancer and evaluate the treatment response and detect recurrence; and
« apply MRI to meet the diagnostic challenges of pregnant patients.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
« Apply basic MRI sequences to characterize adnexal lesions;
« Describe the role of MRI in staging and treatment of bladder tumors;
« Explain how MRI can be utilized in ovarian cancer for staging, treatment response, and the detection of recurrence; and
