OVERVIEW
This 2-hour course is a part of the Clinical Intensive Neuro Course and will focus on MRI in several clinically important pediatric conditions. Physician speakers will cover imaging in:
Stroke;
Epilepsy;
Metabolic disorders; and
Developmental delay.
 
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
Describe MR imaging patterns in developmental delay;
Explain the advantages and disadvantages of MRI in epilepsy and in metabolic disorders; and
Describe MRI findings in stroke and the prediction of outcome.
 
AUDIENCE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for physicians who are interested in learning more about or updating their knowledge of pediatric neuroimaging for their daily routine practice of neuroradiology.
