OVERVIEW
This six-hour course over three days will review two cutting-edge topics in cardiovascular MRI and will also offer a case-reading session:

Wednesday session will be devoted to case-based studies in CMR and is primarily geared toward a physician audience. Course instructors this day are MD’s.

 
TARGET AUDIENCE
The course is designed for experienced users of MR, with a basic knowledge of cardiovascular MR. The content of the course is appropriate for radiologists, cardiologists, and basic researchers interested in cardiovascular imaging in academic and public service.
 
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the latest developments in MR of cardiac microstructure;
  • Optimally interpret cardiovascular MR exams by reviewing case studies; and
  • Describe new methods for accelerating CMR image acquisition and various ways that these methods can be used clinically.
