SUNRISE EDUCATIONAL COURSE
Translational Pathways & Validation
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
ORGANIZERS: Kevin M. Bennett, Ph.D. & C. Chad Quarles, Ph.D.
Thursday, 15 May 2014

OVERVIEW
This course is an Introduction to flow cytometry concepts and applications as well as validating preclinical MEMRI datasets.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Non-Biologists interested in an introduction to non-MRI methodologies that can be used to validate pre-clinical MRI data. The goal of this course is to provide non-Biologists with an introduction to non-MRI methodologies that can be used to validate pre-clinical MRI data.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:

  • Convey the basic concepts of molecular biology and non-MR imaging modalities; and
  • Recognize which validation methodologies can be used to validate MEMRI and MR flow and metabolic imaging datasets.
