WEEKEND EDUCATIONAL COURSE
Neuro 2
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
ORGANIZERS: Jonathan H. Gillard, M.D., FRCR, MBA & Howard A. Rowley, M.D.
Sunday, 31 May 2015

OVERVIEW
This course will explore the uses of MRI in the diagnosis and management of brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, pediatric epilepsy and schizophrenia. Talks will focus what clinicians need, what radiologists can provide and what physicists can add.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Neuroradiologists, medical physicists, clinical neurospecialists and neuroimaging researchers.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Increase the ability to choose and interpret MR protocols and pulse sequences and relate imaging to pathology in brain tumors;
  • Increase the ability to choose and interpret MR protocols and pulse sequences and relate imaging to pathology in multiple sclerosis;
  • Increase the ability to choose and interpret MR protocols and pulse sequences and relate imaging to pathology in pediatric epilepsy; and
  • Increase the ability to choose and interpret MR protocols and pulse sequences and relate imaging to pathology in schizophrenia.
