In this work, a novel 3D PU method is
presented. The simulated and in vivo abdominal QSM experiments demonstrate
proposed method can obtain the best unwrapped results even in the regions with
low SNR and rapidly-changed phase.
Fig. 3. The
phase-unwrapping and QSM results of the PRELUDE, graph-cut, region-growing, laplacian_based
and proposed methods on the in vivo abdominal data. Images in the first row are
phase and magnitude. Images in the second row are the unwrapped phase by the five
method methods. Images in the third row are susceptibility results from the
phase maps after unwrapping with each algorithm and background field removal.
Fig. 2. Phase-unwrapping
results of the second simulation experiments with rapidly-changed phase along z
axle direction by using the PRELUDE, graph-cut, region-growing and proposed
methods. Because of the poor performance, the results for laplacian_based
method have not been shown.
