Optical Transmission of Digitized MRI Signals Using Delta-Sigma Modulation

We propose a digital optical transmission system based on delta-sigma modulation (DSM) that aims to provide high dynamic range for MRI signals. Proof-of-concept tests show 50 dBm dynamic range for OSR = 50 and over 64 dbm dynamic range for OSR = 100.
