Overview
Maximizing MRI performance for specific clinical applications can mean shifting away from general-purpose systems or high-B0 field strengths.  This plenary session focuses on the current generation of specialized high-performance MRI systems that are designed to deliver new capability that is not possible with standard configurations and why they may succeed where previous ones have failed.
