Overview


Target Audience
Radiographers, technologists, radiologists, scientists, and anyone who can benefit from additional MR physics instruction.

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
- Explain the origins and range of acoustic noise in MRI and the parameters that contribute to its level;
- Describe acoustic noise measurements using the decibel scale and weightings;
- Review the specification and use of hearing protection devices; and
- Recall the relevant patient and occupational limits that apply.
