Overview
This session will focus on understanding brain physiology and pathophysiology using non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques.

Target Audience
MRI Technologists and Radiographers

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
• Explain MRI techniques to measure perfusion, metabolism, and vascular function of the brain;
• Describe typical clinical applications of physiological MRI techniques; and
• Understand the advantages and potential limitations of physiological MRI compared to anatomic and structural MRI.
