14:40 5409. Volumetric Study of Substantia Nigra on 3T MRI across different Movement Disorders
I. Chimento, M. E. Caligiuri, E. Tinelli, A. Quattrone, F. Squitieri, A. Quattrone, U. Sabatini
Neuroscience Research Center, Catanzaro, Italy
Impact: Accurately evaluating volumetric alterations of the substantia nigra in patients with movement disorders of different etiology could significantly enhance differential diagnosis. This may improve the accuracy of early diagnosis, potentially even in pre-morbid conditions, as well as optimize treatment monitoring.
14:50 5410. Multi-Modal Imaging Assessment of Neurovascular Uncoupling in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia
S. Persohn, J. A. Chong Chie, P. Salama, P. Territo
Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, United States
Impact: Early diagnosis in AD is critical to develop a prophylactic treatment strategy, minimize morbidity, and mitigating healthcare financial burden. Our novel analytical method permits early non-invasive detection of regional neurovascular and metabolic dysregulation suitable for clinical staging and enrolment.
15:00 5411. 4D dynamic imaging of moving joints using 3D MPnRAGE MRI and sliding window reconstruction to visualize full joint anatomy in real-time motion.
J. Fairhurst, G. Schulte Farina, K. Pelkola, S. Warfield
Boston Childrens Hospital, Boston, United States
Impact: The 3D MPnRAGE sequence with sliding window reconstruction provides a robust 4D dynamic MRI solution for evaluating joint anatomy and motion in real time.
