Overview
This 2-hour session will cover the physics and clinical applications of inhaled or oral MRI contrast agents. Attendees will learn how different properties of contrast agents can be leveraged to measure a variety of functional properties across organs such as neuro, lung, and gastrointestinal applications. Additionally, attendees will gain insight into the clinical translation journey of hyperpolarized xenon MRI.

• Explain the physics of inhaled and ingested contrast agents;
• Describe the clinical applications of inhaled and ingested contrast agents; and
• Illustrate a potential roadmap for the translation of clinical applications.
