Overview
The Artifacts Game Show is a long-standing tradition at the ISMRM annual meetings where participants learn to identify and remove artifacts in MRI in a lighthearted game show setting. A wide variety of artifacts will be presented by members of the ISMRM community with input from experts. This course provides an interactive means for rapidly identifying the causes and impact of image artifacts.

Target Audience
This course has been designed for trainees, MRI technologists, and practicing radiologists who may benefit from the ability to rapidly identify and mitigate common and uncommon artifacts encountered in clinical practice.

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
• Identify common artifacts found in clinical MRI;
• Explain the physical origins of these artifacts;
• Devise changes to pulse sequences and protocols to avoid artifacts; and
• Differentiate between artifacts and pathological lesions.
