Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

• Discuss the current and future role of MRI in the workup of various GI pathologies;
• Specify MR protocols to answer specific clinical questions;
• Apply newly available techniques in a clinically sound and effective manner;
• Judge the diagnostic performance of MRI techniques in the assessment of disease affecting the small bowel, the colon, the pancreas, and the splanchnic vasculature.
