Upon completion of this session participants should be able to:

• Compare the normal and pathological MR imaging appearance of the larynx;
• Apply the latest MR imaging techniques to diagnose abnormalities of the 7^th and 8^th nerve complex;
• Describe the MR imaging anatomy of the cranial nerves along with the appearance of pathological entities affecting these nerves;
• Evaluate the oral cavity and oropharynx on MR images and identify pathological lesions in this anatomic region.
