For my PhD degree, I work with a project on implementation of 7T MRI in presurgical evaluation of epilepsy patients. I have two years left of the three-year PhD program, and expect to continue this work as part of a clinical trial after I complete the degree.

I am fairly new to experiences with promotion of research, but I feel very strongly for gaining knowledge and skills enough to make an effort in contributing to the community. Especially, building bridges between the technical and clinical environments in order to strengthen evaluation of research findings is important to me, and concludes part of my work on a daily basis.

The two last ISMRM Annual Meetings have triggered a lot of motivation to participate more actively in the MR research community.
