Collaboration between SNMMIT and SMRT Results in White Paper

In keeping with the mission of the SMRT we are pleased to announce the completion of the SNMMI-TS/SMRT PET/MR white paper. This was a joint collaboration between the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technologists Section and the Section for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This paper is a joint consensus concerning the recommended educational and certification (United States perspective) of future technologists whom will be working in PET/MR hybrid technology. As identified, more work needs to be done and the SMRT and the SNMMI-TS leadership will continue in this joint effort.
