The 2014 Joint
Forum was organized by SMRT Executive Member, James
J. Stuppino B.S., R.T. (R)(MR); SMRT External
Liaison, Cindy Comeau R.T.(N)(MR), FSMRT and ISMRM
representative Christine Chung, M.D. The forum
included presentations and a panel discussion.
The

presented Clinician Applications and Challenges in
Europe; David A. Bluemke, M.D., Ph.D., addressed
MRI/PET: Clinician Applications & Challenges in the
USA; David W. Jordan, Ph.D., gave an Introduction to
PET-MRI Scanner Technology; John J. Totman Ph.D.,
who explained PET/MR Technologists Challenges from a
MRI Technologists point of view; and Kimberly
Jackson, B.S. CNMT, described the MR Technologists
Challenges from a Nuclear Medicine Technologists
