Shellock is a physiologist with 40 years of experience conducting investigations in the field of MRI. He is the President of Shellock R&amp;D Services, Inc., the Director of MRI Safety and an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Radiology and Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. As a commitment to MRI safety, he created and maintains the internationally popular website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.MRIsafety.com\">www.MRIsafety.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Dr. Shellock has authored more than 270 publications in the peer-reviewed literature. His medical textbooks include the Reference Manual for Magnetic Resonance Safety, Implants and Devices (nineteen editions); Magnetic Resonance Procedures: Health Effects and Safety; Kinematic MRI of the Joints: Functional Anatomy, Kinesiology, and Clinical Applications; and MRI Bioeffects, Safety, and Patient Management (two editions).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Dr. Shellock is a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International. He undertook his undergraduate and specialty training in Melbourne but had been working in the USA for almost 20 years.\u00a0 He comes to us most recently from the USC Keck Medical Centre in Los Angeles, where he was the Director of Neuroradiology, Neuroradiology Fellowship Program Director, Director of NIA USC Alzheimer Disease Research Center, Neuroimaging Core and Medical Director of the Stevens Institute of Neuroimaging and Informatics where he was also the Professor of Radiology, Neurology &amp; Neurological Surgery USC Keck School of Medicine as well as Professor of Biomedical Engineering USC Viterbi School of Engineering.<\/p>\n<p><em>Prior to California, Meng held Associate Professorial roles at Mt Sinai School of Medicine, the New York University School of Medicine in New York and undertook a Neuroradiology fellowship at the New York University Medical Centre.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Over the years Meng has also been involved with many US and international professional organisations, including President of the American Society of Spine Radiology and President American Society of Functional Neuroradiology.\u00a0 Meng\u2019s major areas of research interest include the ageing brain and Alzheimer\u2019s Disease,\u00a0AI, big data science and machine learning, advanced neuro MR imaging techniques, molecular imaging, traumatic brain injury and imaging in spaceflight. He serves on several key committees, including the Imaging Sonic Executive Committee and the Epworth Neurosciences Clinical Institute.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Pramit holds an MBBS from the University of Melbourne, where he ranked in the top 10%, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of\u00a0Radiologists (FRANZCR). He also has a Diploma in Leadership and Management from Swinburne University and graduated in 2023 from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With expertise in neuroradiology, he is dedicated to improving medical imaging quality and patient care.
