Visa Information


Guidelines to Obtain an Indian Visa

All foreign nationals intending to participate in the meeting, except those of Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives, are required to obtain an Indian VISA. VISA can be applied for in person or by post at the Indian Diplomatic Mission based in the country from where the participant intends to depart for India. VISA application form is available at the office of the Indian Embassy in the capital and other major cities of the country of your residence. All NRIs/PIOs, including children (who don't possess OCI or PIO card) need to apply for VISA in separate VISA forms. All the participants are advised to apply for Tourist VISA only. The required documents are as mentioned below:

Tourist Visa:

e-Visa:

Faculty/Delegates from eligible Countries/Territories are advised to apply for e-Visa which is completely an online process. At present e-Visa is issued to passport holders of 161 countries. e-Visa has 5 sub-categories i.e. e-Tourist visa, e-Business visa, e-Medical visa, e-Medical Attendant visa and e-Conference visa. Faculty/Delegates are advised to apply for e-Tourist Visa.

Regular Visa:

Alternatively, Faculty/Delegates can apply for a regular visa through online application link. Delegates from Countries/Territories not listed under the e-Visa scheme must apply for regular visa only (Tourist Visa).
