Parallel Session 2

Day 2 – Saturday, 21 September 2019

Session 7: Parallel Sessions
Parallel Session 2: Assessing Implant Safety by Modelling & Measurements – No CME Available
Moderator: Alexander J. E. Raaijmakers, Ph.D.

This session would be of particular interest to researchers and engineers from industry and academics with interest in learning about experimental and modelling techniques to assess and validate safety of medical implants/devices during MRI scanning with a focus on RF heating. This dedicated session provides insights on this topic both from an industrial (safety test house) and academic perspective. The talks will be given by worldwide experts and there will be ample opportunity to interact and discuss.
