Getting to Montabaur from the Frankfurt Airport (FRA):
Montabaur is 68 kilometers from Frankfurt and 97 kilometers from the
Frankfurt Airport.
There are three options to getting to Montabaur.
The first option is by taking the ICE train which is Germany’s high
speed rail. Access to the Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Fernbf station is
connected to the airport by a skyway that crosses the A 3 Highway.
Please keep in mind that this is the long distance train and not the
regional train. From the airport to the hotel, travel time will be
approximately 30 minutes. The cost of ticket is €35 Euro.
The second option is via taxi. Here is a company suggested by the

approximately €115 Euro and travel time is approximately one hour.

approximately one hour.

-Once at the Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Fernbf station you will purchase
your ticket for the ICE train.
-Ticket machines are located both in the regional train station in
Terminal 1, B Concourse, Level 0 and the long-distance train station
on Level 3 of the AIRail Terminal.
-They can be purchased using an EC debit card or a credit card.
-You may also purchase your tickets for long-distance travel with
German Rail (Deutsche Bahn)

Getting to the hotel upon arrival in Montabaur:
Once at the station in Montabaur take the city centre exit. Cross
the footbridge and walk towards the roundabout. Opposite the grocery
chain store NETTO there is a road leading to Montabaur Castle
